Hannah Blurton
Quartermaster - Army
Hannah joined the US Navy in April 1988 & was stationed in Guam as an Aviation Structural Mechanic working on CH-46 helicopters during Desert Storm/Desert Shield. After completing over 26 years of continuous military service between the US Navy, US Navy Reserve, Army National Guard, US Army & US Army Reserve, in a multitude of military occupation specialties, she transferred to the Army Retired Reserve in November 2014. She earned her VFW eligibility while serving as the GEOINT nightshift NCOIC for 532nd MIB at Camp Humphreys, ROK from 2007-2008.
Hannah joined VFW Post 4798 in Trenton, TN as a Life Member in October 2019 & served as Post QM until October 2021. She maintains her Bronze Legacy Life membership at Post 4780 in Milan, where she served as Post JVC & Benefits Advisement Officer from early 2022 until her election as Department QM for 2026-2027. Hannah has served in a number of elected and appointed positions at the Post, District & Department levels, and was selected as a member of the National Veterans Service Resolutions Committee in 2023. Hannah's husband & oldest son are also active members at VFW Post 4780.
